Registered Collectors

A Collector is a government-approved carrier that picks up used oil materials from Drop-Off Locations and/or Generators and delivers them to a Processor registered with the Alberta Used Oil Management Association (AUOMA). AUOMA pays the registered Collectors to pick up used oil materials from over 4,000 generators throughtout Alberta, of which about 400 serve as Drop-Off Locations.

I have a large quantity of used oil material that needs to be picked up?

If you are a generator of used oil materials, in quantities more tha a do-it-yourselfer, please click on the applicable zone of the province and the names of Collectors operating in that zone will appear.  For more information about a particular Collector in that zone, please click on the name of the Collectors.  Please make arrangements directly with one of the companies listed on our site.  AUOMA does not schedule pick-ups on behalf of our Registered Collectors.

How does my company apply to become a Registered Collector with AUOMA?

Step One: Review the AUOMA Manual for Collectors & Processors.

Step Two: Complete and forward the AUOMA Collector Application Form (AUOMA201) to the Association together with the required documentation listed on the form.

AUOMA will only process your application and approve your registration upon receipt of all the above mentioned items. Once approved, your company information will then appear on our website.
