Alberta has a network of about 400 Drop-Off Locations / EcoCentres that accept used oil, filters and containers from do-it-yourselfers, farmers and small businesses. To find a drop-off location, use the associated search to the right.
Please note that not all locations accept all three materials (oil, filters, containers). Search results will include a legend to indicate accepted materials by location.
We recommend that you call the drop-off location in your area to confirm free service, materials, amounts accepted and hours of operation. Please drop off the used oil materials only during operating hours and ensure the used oil is not contaminated with such things as water, anti-freeze, paints or solvents.
