BC Used Oil Summer Ambassador Program
In the summer of 2010, BC Used Oil carried out their fifth annual Ambassador program, a province-wide communications campaign to encourage responsible recycling of used oil. The ambassadors visited most registered Return Collection Facilities, distributed information, conducted media interviews, met with program stakeholders and attended events on behalf of BCUOMA and program partner, Post-Consumer Pharmaceutical Stewardship Association (PCPSA). The 2011 Summer Ambassador Program is already underway. This year the ambassadors will also be promoting the addition of antifreeze to the used oil recycling program.
